The following steps can help you to make your first purchase using the SelfKey Wallet.
Users can start purchasing KEY tokens using the Moonpay integration by clicking on the “BUY KEY” button on the dashboard.
But before using the service, users should have updated some basic details on their profile. These details can be updated by clicking on the “My Profile” button from the side-pane.
You will need to enter some basic details like Name, Email, Nationality & Country of Residence by clicking on the “Add Information” button and then selecting each attribute from the drop-down.
Once done, you can start purchasing KEY by clicking on the “BUY KEY” button on the dashboard.
Once you have clicked on the “BUY KEY” button, you will see the following screen.
You can proceed by clicking on “CONNECT WITH MOONPAY”.
On the screen, you can select the email address you wish to use for the Moonpay services. By default, the email address you entered on your profile will be shown.
You can select or edit the same on this screen.
You will be asked to confirm the same again on the next screen.
The next screen will show you the Moonpay interface to buy the KEY tokens. You can enter the number of tokens you wish to purchase and click on “CONTINUE”.
On this screen, you can also click on the “Hamburger Button” on the top right corner to see details and preferences regarding the interface.
On the next screen, a summary of your purchase with your SelfKey Wallet address will be displayed. Please double-check the address, as the purchased tokens will be available at this address.
Once you click on “CONTINUE”, you will see the below screen, which will ask you to verify the email address you had provided earlier.
You will need to enter the verification code received on your email as well as confirm to agree with the “Terms of Use” and “Privacy Policy” of Moonpay.
The subsequent screens will ask you to enter the basic details required for Moonpay to provide you the service and the card details to complete the payment.
Once the payment is completed, you will see the below screen. You may have to wait a few minutes for the tokens to reflect on your Wallet.
You may also receive a confirmation email once the transaction is complete.
