SelfKey Progress Report for May 2021
Last month was one of the biggest in terms of developments and updates. Here is a compilation of all those in the SelfKey Progress Report for May 2021.

The month of May has seen some significant updates happening to the SelfKey Identity Wallet.
Three of the most important updates that happened are:
- WalletConnect Integration
- BSC Network Support/Toggle
- Moonpay Integration
WalletConnect Integration
SelfKey Desktop Wallet v1.9.3 was released earlier during the month with the Wallet Connect Integration and some other minor bug fixes.
The WalletConnect integration allows the SelfKey Wallet to connect to and interact with hundreds of dApps that already support WalletConnect.
BSC Network Support/Toggle
Currently only released in the mobile Wallet, the network toggle feature allows users to toggle between different networks like BSC or Ropsten Test network.
The same happens to be a major upgrade to the basic infrastructure of the SelfKey Identity Wallet as the upgrade enables users to store BSC assets as well as ERC-20 assets.
Moonpay Integration
The Moonpay integration and release were probably one of the most anticipated developments by the community. The Moonpay integration allows SelfKey users to purchase KEY tokens directly from the SelfKey Wallet using their Debit/Credit Cards.
MoonPay, is one of the most widely used integrations, including the TrustWallet (Binance’s native Wallet), for fiat-crypto on-off-ramp.
The Moonpay integration may resolve a long-standing request from the SelfKey community to purchase KEY tokens directly from the SelfKey Wallet.
Other minor fixes and improvements include:
- Bug fixes and performance improvements
- Minor UI fixes to Wallet dashboard and Passports marketplace.
